My name is Kat Higgins. I am the owner of Heartbreaker Studio in central downtown Spokane. I have 9 years of experience as a hairdresser and am always furthering my education. In 2024 I traveled to Tokyo, Milan and Paris to further my education. I took styling and haircutting classes and participated in Paris Fashion Week. I specialize in curls, textured hair, blonde and lived in hair color! In my spare time I love doing photo shoots and practicing new hair techniques. My space is a fun, vibrant and safe space for all! I love creating hair that matches your vibe.

With 10 years in the industry and many hours of advanced education, I’m a cutting-focused stylist specializing in androgynous and alternative styles and cuts. My work is deeply influenced by music, pop culture, and fashion. I’m a believer that individuality and beauty doesn’t come with rules.
Whether you're looking for a bold color or a custom cut that feels like you, my chair is a space for self-expression. I believe hair should reflect who you are, not who the world thinks you should be.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m probably reading a fantasy novel, watching a Masterpiece Classics (yes, I’m a historical fiction nerd), paddleboarding, hitting shows, or hanging out with my boyfriend and our two stinky cats.

Victoria
My name is Victoria Batterton. I’ve been in the industry for two years, starting out my journey in the assistant program at House Of Pop. The assistant program is a year long immersive program that prepares you for the industry, and involves consistent and continuous education.
I am a cutting focused stylist, whose main goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident in your skin. If I’m doing color, I prefer to focus on clients with silver hair. I do not tend towards blonding, but can recommend you to a handful of talented stylists who do.
I love to listen to my clients, and to help align them with a look that they feel most comfortable in, and always have a ton of fun doing gender affirming and alternative style haircuts.
My chair is a safe space, and I look forward to meeting you!

Meet Hannah
My name is Hannah, my pronouns are she/her. I’m a hair color specialist, I’ve been in the industry 10 years. I specialize in low maintenance hair color that will grow out looking intentional. I enjoy dimensional blonding and red hues for all hair textures. Over the past five years I’ve focused on curly hair education, working with all textures to ensure clients feel confident and cared for.
I believe great hair is about finding something that works best with your lifestyle. My goal is for every client to feel safe in my chair. While I currently focus exclusively on color services, I’m fortunate to work alongside three talented stylists who offer excellent haircuts.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my dogs, paddle boarding, or connecting with community at queer meetups!
